Erin Sullivan makes bronze functional sculpture—furniture, lighting and objects—that constructs a symbolic language encoded with the spirit of nature. Her work creates a synthesis through the process that amplifies the essence and alludes to the mystery of the natural world. 

Erin problematizes our constructed separation from nature through the assemblage of flora and fauna to remember that we are part of this primordial force...not separate. Her work proposes an alternative culture where nature forms are the highest intelligence.

Sullivan’s repertoire presents an elegant equilibrium between artifact and nature, and art and design. If sensuality is her primary impulse, polarity is secondary. Themes of life and death, matter and spirit, masculine and feminine weave a mythopoetic narrative throughout the collections.
